Do you secretly long to reach a new level with your business but struggle with internal voices that keep you from moving forward?

If you don't do something about it, you will spend five more years as the best kept secret in your industry. Here are 3 steps to help you bravely claim your space in your market.

I have always said that entrepreneurship is one of the most powerful ways to develop yourself personally and to create the conditions so that you can achieve the lifestyle that fascinates you.

However, I also know from my own experience that one of the biggest obstacles to reaching that goal is yourself. The fact that you launch into entrepreneurship does not mean that, automatically, you reprogram yourself and begin to function in entrepreneur mode.

Sadly, all of your baggage, including the twenty or thirty-odd years of training you received in your past, comes with you as you take that step. If you're not careful, that preconditioning will keep you locked in actions that are too small and too safe.

The inevitable result is roller-coaster income levels, nightmare clients, constant stress, and problems with your money.

If this describes you, entrepreneurial woman, you are like a caterpillar: full of the potential to fly and to display all your brilliance, but still crawling into a reality that no longer corresponds to you.

How can you make the “switch” from being the best kept secret in your market to the sparkling entrepreneur who conquers new territories every day, with confidence and security?

Here are 3 key steps to achieve it:

1. Be honest with yourself and connect with your true passion

Think about what you really want to achieve with your business.

I remember that I always set limits for myself. I dreamed of reaching certain goals and my inner voice quickly came up with the distressing question: "Who am I to do that?" or "this is not for me!", even though my heart longed for him dearly.

For you to understand me, I am going to be very vulnerable with you: I was afraid of success, I was afraid of what they will say, I was afraid of losing my relationship with God and I was afraid of becoming someone unpleasant for me and for others.

Many women entrepreneurs start with these internal negotiations that quickly lead us to our current "reality", each time we want to take the step to a new level that is unknown to us.

You need to recognize those internal fears that are preventing you from connecting with your true passion. In practice, you should be living day-to-day with excitement and anticipation, even in those difficult moments of your endeavor.

If not, you haven't said yes to your dreams, or you are living someone else's dream.

2. Make a decision

In my life as a businesswoman, several times I have had to make a conscious decision to change something and never go back to it. I mentally draw a line in my life and decide never to return to where I was, despite knowing that I will be very uncomfortable on the other side!

The same is true for you. Either you gamble, or you spend five more years hiding behind your computer.

I have seen this decisive decision-making ability in all of my mentors. You are going to discover that any successful person encountered that line at some point and embraced the challenge of crossing it without looking back.

3. Don't play lone wolf

Like the embers of a fire, an entrepreneur remains ardently passionate about what she does when she is with other “embers-entrepreneurs”.

Something magical happens when you surround yourself with people who think differently, act differently, and get different results in their lives.

They will infect you with their enthusiasm and creativity and will stimulate you to think big and be much more assertive in your online business!

I end with an inspirational quote from my dear coach, Kendall Summerhawk:

“Dear entrepreneurial woman, life is short and precious. Please don't waste it! Stop thinking about what they will say and move to achieve your dreams. Be brave and think about the many lives you can impact if you give yourself permission to do so. "
