We currently live in a world immersed in the technological field, such as the use of a mobile phone, a laptop, a touch board, etc., a whole range of electronic devices that invite us to be connected to the internet. And all this supposes, in a way, that the use of these devices is for the purpose of improving the quality of life in humanity, especially in the educational field. However, it has not been to some extent for good ends, so well they have caused physical or psychological damage.

Social networks are an important part of society, since their use leads to updating in the handling of electronic devices and communication between young people and adults. To a great extent it is a tool for the academic achievement of students of any educational level. Although excessive or inappropriate use can cause psychological damage, and even addiction.

We must start by creating a good culture in the use of technological tools, looking for strategies, so that there is an interaction not only at a distance but in person to improve the academic achievement of students mainly, but this will be achieved with the participation of three actors major in education: teacher, student and parents.

ALL CONNECTED TO THE “INTERNET” NETWORK

Currently with all the technological advances, society is increasingly accepting the way of having their devices connected to the "internet" network of networks. Therefore, this makes technology your ally, your tool to improve the quality of life.

Day by day companies that sell technologies (hardware and / or software) are focusing not only on improving the quality of their products, but that this product responds to a need, for different fields of study. For example, in education, there are many tools that help us improve learning, from the use of a tablet, laptop, to a touch board. But the problem is that in most primary and secondary schools, mainly teachers do not have that knowledge for the use of these technologies.

In schools in rural places we can already find computers connected to the internet, for this we are talking about the fact that there is at least one computer in each classroom and one internet repeater antenna per school. But what about all these needs that sometimes society itself demands, and that even having them are not used for lack of knowledge. We have a problem that although it is known, it is not addressed, it turns out that there is no investment in computer training for teachers, students and parents. We do not have that technological education defined for its study and use, we are leaving aside tools that can help us a lot and greatly speed up learning.

Therefore, it is important that both as teachers, students and parents are immersed within this entire virtual field, so that they take advantage of each of the tools that the greats in technologies provide us. Since the more digital a solution becomes, the more accessible it will be, the data management. For example, the use of the educational social platform "Edmodo", one of the best known and easiest to use for teachers, students and parents.

According to data from the Mexican Internet Association (AMIPCI) “The place of connection par excellence continues to be the home, followed by the workplace. The school has returned to gain users compared to last year. The access route is WIFI (either public or private), significantly increasing the contracted access (+ 13pp) ”.

It means that it is no longer a problem to say how a few years ago “I don't have a computer to do my homework”, the use of cyber cafes is lagging behind, without a doubt it is the unprecedented growth of the consumption of mobile devices and laptops and therefore technology companies tend to produce more and better products. And another important issue would be the use of digital libraries.

But the reality is that what is increasing is access to social networks, since it is what predominates in the use of electronic devices such as Laptop, Smartphone, Tablet. The issue here is debatable as to whether the use of these social media are good or not, since for some it is a waste of time to be on Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, etc., while for others they see a great opportunity for growth, work, professional and personally. If we take it to the educational field, it is a good way to teach students how to use the networks to see topics, mainly those that are focused on the study plan that is being carried out. YouTube already manages educational channels, in matters of social, natural, chemical, mathematical sciences, etc.So what remains for us is to learn to deepen and analyze each of these media, taking advantage of the time at all times.

In a few years we will not be surprised that schools will no longer see students arriving with books and notebooks, but only with electronic devices.

conclusion

The use of technologies and social communication media in education has had a great impact. Today, the teacher who includes technology in his teaching is a teacher who wants to innovate in his teaching practices. Including information and knowledge technologies in schools is undoubtedly a very pleasant interaction since we can better capture the student's attention with multimedia projections, from a simple recording of how to solve a mathematical problem to forming scientific forums.

As we have seen, this has advantages and disadvantages, it all depends on where we want to go, but as long as we are involved in the improvement of educational competencies in all areas, this will be more of an advantage. The good thing about all this is that time and distance are no longer impediments to learning, since we can connect from our home and carry our virtual material. You decide the way, innovate or die.
