I have no doubt that entrepreneurship, for all that it represents as an activator of the economy, generator and multiplier of wealth, creator of jobs and channel of innovation, stands as the seed of prosperity and the vaccine against poverty. Micro entrepreneurship has always been the genuine way in which the popular masses have managed to channel their modest investments towards commercial, industrial and service initiatives, thereby achieving family micro-businesses and a large volume of self-employment, on which the economic sustainability of society, as we define it today.
We are also aware of the high and alarming mortality rate in enterprises of any size, higher than 78%, which prevents efficient commercial, business and industrial development and the logistical impossibility of innovating. This reveals a serious problem: The economic performance of the country, diminished by the serious crisis we are going through, has minimal and residual possibilities of recovering if the micro-enterprises are not sustainable or viable.
Consequently, due to the reduced percentage of risk that franchise-based business models represent, a fact historically and statistically demonstrated, both in Venezuela and in other countries, our society should lean towards the adoption and implementation of a micro-expansion policy. franchisable ventures or microfranchises, to be able to rediscover the path to individual, family and collective prosperity, in that same order.
It is time for microfranchises, because they represent the opportunity for a person with little capital to enter an assisted business model, with all the benefits of a large business network. Let's not hesitate any more! Right now we have the opportunity to turn the franchise system into an enhancer of the national economy, since due to its quality as a transversal axis in different productive sectors, franchises achieve the miracle of multiplying opportunities, the circulation of money, the jobs of work and wealth generation. We have a duty to educate the population about the potential of franchises and to make many Venezuelans learn to undertake and dream of founding a successful franchise.
