Microenterprise in the new economy

Anonim

Over time, Colombia has been characterized by the increase in the number of microenterprises in the country and in Latin America.

On the other hand, a level of entrepreneur training has been generated in the academies whose sole objective is to bet on the generation of new jobs, as a strategy for the progress and development of the nation's economic engine.

Although it is true that in Colombia 98% of productive progress is due to micro-enterprises, many of which sometimes originate in a family environment, today more than ever they need to be better prepared in the scenario of the new economy in that we live.

Naturally, all entrepreneurs are waiting for what will happen with the new free trade agreement and how their companies will react to it. For this reason, the microenterprise entrepreneur must understand how the globalized environment is structured, so that they can be operating in it; generating distinctive advantages to become much more competitive.

When speaking of the term "the new economy", many entrepreneurs wonder what is this economy made of? It is simply structured by a technological era that is generating the management and mastery of information. It also consists of the application of knowledge that is basic for the operation of any specific area. It successfully manages associative schemes that are applied by clusters or productive chains, to penetrate with greater force and better results the internal and future markets. And finally, the implementation of "Supply Change Management" is being generated, which is nothing more than the Administration of Business Networks, which are the way in which countries are or will be competitive with each other through the operation of networks.

Naturally, the microenterprise and specifically in Colombia must be aware and be prepared to understand that it has to adapt to the new trends of a globalized world. Because if it is not part of a landscape, it means that it does not exist; and this is what may be happening to the country's microentrepreneurs. Or they change and change them for others that if they want to be part of an environment that works in this way.

It is of great importance to understand that the micro-entrepreneur is becoming aware thanks to the fact that the State and private sector entities are generating a management culture in micro-enterprises; in the areas of technology, in information management, in the application of knowledge, in associative schemes and in the generation of business networks.

The application of all these steps will lead to success within the companies and will generate a sustained development of the country, based simply on the desire and interest of each of the members who are part of these organizations and society.

Naturally, all citizens must have a sense of belonging to their country and want to work now for a common good which is the growth of all as a nation. If you start with encouragement and enthusiasm wanting to do things for a social benefit, we will have already earned 50% to be able to face and maintain ourselves as a nation in a globalized society and economy.

Today more than ever the nations of Latin America and especially Colombia need to leave behind the traditional schemes of working individually to get ahead. It is necessary to be more deferential and not demanding among ourselves since our competences are no longer between ourselves; otherwise we will compete against systems and networks from other countries in the world.

We must not wait for this new economy to arrive to realize what its result will be, we are simply already living it.
