Running work presented by graduate students of Business Management in Manufacturing Processes of the UANE Monclova campus, in Monclova Coahuila:
The intention of presenting this exercise is to apply the lean manufacturing system.
In the first instance, the work cell was developed according to the traditional methodology used in most of the businesses that manufacture UTP network cable, following the TIA 568B standard. Taking this model, the run was carried out and some areas of opportunity were detected, which were corrected by applying lean manufacturing techniques. Obtaining excellent results in the efficiency of the entire process.
We consider sharing this experience so that those who are dedicated to this activity can apply it. The material, tool and standards are those established and commonly used in any electronics store. Document index:

- Notify the supervisor Repair the fault Clean and tidy the workstation Process Operation: Remove the cable from the reel of the desired length Make the cable cut according to the production schedule Strip the cable at both ends Straighten and untwist the cable Arrange the cables according to the configuration Align and cut the excess cable so that the cable jacket is inside the connector Insert into the RJ45 connector Insert the connector at both ends Check continuity Check the cable produced (green label) Pack in bag and box Ship to customer
