States, governments, politicians and societies as a whole are surely an important part for what is necessary, but there is another part that in my opinion is the one that gives the sufficiency and professionalism that is required for such achievements, which is Management and From what is visualized up to now, I think it is key when taking positions, setting rules that mark the path that allow reaching frames of reference and above all being able to execute them.

A model towards sustainability that according to my experience is becoming increasingly clear is that of a context achieved by a “Vision Management”, which definitely has to have both public and private spheres on the one hand and society accompanying on the other.. Where in the roles of greater responsibility such as those leading organizations, CSR / CSR provide the framework that will allow us to achieve more sustainable scenarios.

The global approach to the context as 1st the 1st considers that clearly we are all involved with degrees of responsibility, as seen in the macro vision of the Sustainability Tricycle, where the greatest overlap of Ecological Intelligence, Clean Production and the Level of Life will be generating a Sustainable context (Brundtland Report of 1987, sustainability consists of meeting the needs of the current generation without sacrificing the ability of future generations to meet their own needs).

Sustainability model

Every day, Ethics and business go hand in hand in organizations, as well as Values are increasingly taken into account with each Decision and when decisions are made not only to Comply but also for Commitment, this is how it goes generating a prone path to reach context where it is possible to achieve sustainability scenarios. With the CSR framework, the model that I believe is best suited to solving such problems is in which Ethics must necessarily start the path of no return towards Sustainability.

Ethics - Sustainability

Ethics is the beginning of the path and it trains us in Being and Doing with the attitudes and actions that allow us to do more and of better quality everything we do, in generating norms and values that must be translated into virtues and commitment.

Values are not imposed, they are imposing, nor are they preached, if not that they are atmospheric they breathe, it is everything that allows us to develop in search of good. Each Value must be transformed into a verb with attitude and actions. When they are incorporated into organizations, they become virtues that will generate competitive advantages. If these values are put into practice in each decision we make, they will surely have something more than compliance (compliance / compliance) if not Commitment (CON - raises a relationship with someone, the PRO - a disposition or advantage and the MISO - a mission to be done) that will allow us to achieve more sustainable scenarios from day to day.

Ethics

The fundamental value is that of Transparency, which acts as a catalyst for competitiveness, entrepreneurial genius and intelligent planning to generate wealth. This is generating identity that with integrity and coherence end up giving confidence to organizations by becoming credible.

Core business value

All this, twinned with the Vision of the organization, is what is shaping the Corporate Awareness as a kind of DNA that must be cultivated and incorporated as part of the strategy so that it becomes a habit and can create culture.

Today it is more than clear that Values and Ethics are taking on another dimension and that whoever does not know how to read them in time will surely be affected by their competitiveness. Currently a movement is sensed that is leading us towards sustainability and social awareness, it is already a reality to consider the consumption of non-renewable resources and in the near future we will surely include variables that come from Ecological Intelligence and Sustainability Patterns, from Design stages, as elements of competitiveness and value of organizations.

Common sense, learning processes, continuous improvement, knowledge transfer have added value in the endless cycle of teaching and learning that feed back each other allowing the capacities to grow to understand the new times. For this, it is necessary to generate new ideas, areas of participation, engineering creativity, training, weigh the evidence provided by facts and data, value black and white, trying to minimize gray to help common sense get back on track and accompany the evolution allowing adaptation to current times and thus improve the competitiveness of the "Business".

One of the threats continues to be that Management is not affected by the syndrome of immediacy when excess anxiety overvalues the short term, making it impossible to incorporate competitive improvements that are available to anyone. In summary, to ensure that an industrial or service system does not affect a natural system, compromising future generations is what led me to create what I call the Sustainable Development Model.
