Creating a vision of what we want to achieve allows our actions to be directed at what is truly significant in our lives. After all, for a sailboat without a port any wind is good.
It is important to have dreams and visions for our lives. God created us in such a way that we need to have goals - something we want to achieve. Without our vision, we cannot grow beyond what we are today.
God has a vision for each of our lives and it is His will that what He has put in our hearts be fulfilled.
Vision begins as a seed that is planted in our hearts. At that moment we are "pregnant" with a new dream. It can be compared to the natural pregnancy of a woman.
The process from acquiring a vision to seeing its realization is very similar to that of a woman giving birth:
1. Conception:
During this stage a great idea is born, but there is no visual evidence of it. There is joy, there is enthusiasm for what is coming, but it is not seen. It is the moment in which you have to learn to believe that the vision is not just a possibility, but something that is feasible to achieve.
A woman does not say that she will possibly have a baby. She says that she is going to have a baby, even though there is no outward sign that she is pregnant. She is anticipating being able to hold that creature in her arms and is looking forward to the day when the precise moment arrives to do so.
In the same way, a vision for a business must be presented as a reality that will manifest itself in the future. It should be the "port" to which you sail with focus and determination throughout your business management.
2. Pregnancy:
Once a vision has been conceived, you have to plan and prepare so that everything is in place when the moment of the manifestation, or the birth, of the dream arrives. During this period, like a pregnant woman, we go through different stages and begin to experience feelings and sensations that we have never had. We may be invaded by fear, or tiredness. Many times things happen that are beyond our control and we do not understand what is happening.
At this time, you just have to go ahead, without hesitation, applying step by step the development strategies that were planned in advance. Although we cannot see it at all, we can be absolutely certain that the vision is taking shape.
3. Premature births and abortions:
Every business has its maturing process, from its inception until it finally reaches the point of being profitable and producing the expected results.
Due to exhaustion, stress and lack of perseverance, many people abort their project. They give up in the face of difficulties and suddenly give up and decide not to pursue the vision any further.
