Let's remember when we were children. We were all told that we had to study and get a university degree to get a good job where they would give us a good salary to be able to buy a stroller, a little house and that our family did not lack anything. True or false? Well, the parents' words are different but that's where the idea goes.
They taught us from a young age that we must create security by obtaining good jobs, rewards, and in the future a pension.
Our mind was programmed to seek security under the fixed salary of a company and an employer.
The reality is that living with a boss is the most insecure for our economy. Yes, that's right… I'll tell you why.
I am going to use a fictional character with a fictional story to make you understand better what I am trying to explain to you.
Carlos works for a company that sells beef and pork. He is the manager of the company and receives a good salary. He already has his own house and he recently bought a new car which he will pay for in monthly installments. Everything is going very well in his finances.
One month after purchasing its new car, the company faces serious financial problems because a virus that has spread in pigs and recess has caused the production of meat to be commercialized to decrease considerably, which makes the owner of the company liquidate all workers and close the company.
Now Carlos is out of work and in debt for his new car. Furthermore, the area where Carlos works is going through an economic crisis and it has been difficult for him to find a new job.
This is just one example of insecurity at work, nothing guarantees us that the company or business in which we work will be permanent. You may think that this will not happen in your company but the future is uncertain, nothing is written.
The owners or owners of businesses and companies, can get up one day and announce that they will change the business of their company or that they will cut staff, or that they will sell it and the new owner will bring in new employees, etc.
If you want to be rich, with a job you will not achieve it. As Robert Kiyosaki says, the school only trains us to work for the rich and not to create our own wealth.
