INTRODUCTION

In the following essay, we will analyze the subject of Warehouse Management Indicators, which are important within an Operational area, where we can know and interpret information about the most representative indicators in an area called Warehouse, which is the same in any company and that depends on its turn, however we use the same indicators, such as Productivity, Waste, Returns and / or Rejections and in all warehouses depending on their size or capacity has a process of Reception, Arrangement and Assortment or Exit of Merchandise, Therefore, we will analyze how the Warehouse Management Indicators form a working tool, based on data or information records that allow us to make adequate decisions to seek continuous improvements.

DEVELOPING

In Mexico there are different types of companies and as we well know a Warehouse or Warehouse Management area has all small, medium and large companies, depending on the size of the organization is how we can seek to be efficient in each of the processes, controlling and mastering each of the basic indicators such as: Productivity, Loss, Returns and / or Rejections, since as mentioned by the Author, Arturo Ferrin Gutiérrez, in his book; Stock Management in Warehouse Logistics (built with the application of mathematical methods, in order to optimize logistics costs and its level of service).

When managing the Productivity Indicator, we must have the appropriate (trained) staff and work tools, the set of these forces help us to be efficient in a warehouse, as well as consider other factors that already depend on the leadership of the planner, organizes, directs and controls these processes, there are companies that currently offer an incentive for Productivity, in addition to having a base salary, this makes human capital show more commitment and interest in being Productive, in conjunction with meeting their needs for suitable tools.

On the other hand, in an organization we all focus our perspectives on the area called the engine of an organization, such as the Sales area, however the Warehouse area or Department plays a vital role for customer satisfaction, there are already indicators such as the Decrease. Return and / or rejection, deliveries on time, together are indicators that adding the Sale-Assortment-Distribution / Delivery, are those that determine the quality of a customer's service and meet their needs to be within the quality parameters and allow yourself to be competitive.

During this essay, we briefly analyze some indicators of Warehouse Management, on the subject of Productivity, as we well know, the work culture that is in the organization counts a lot, the way to incentivize staff and have the appropriate tools of work, as well as having an adequate lay out within a certain area and that the adequate metric spaces can be used, in relation to the Loss, Return and / or Rejection, are Indicators that are related from the process of Receiving merchandise, Storage and Delivery, throughout this operational process the merchandise requires a leadership level of adequate supervision and control, since by controlling these indicators, at the end of a balance sheet they intervene in the deductions and add to the utility of a company, we could have decrease in sales,but no increase in deductions, if we manage to have a control of the indicators, our operating costs will help to add up vs the sale that occurs in an organization.
