The changing landscape of the market, information and communication technologies have made companies have to function in an increasingly complex environment; Therefore, the modern company must take on the challenge of modifying its management with specialized people, to compete successfully in the market, adapting to changes and new circumstances to come.

The foregoing and the fundamentals described, allow us to understand that engineering in Business Management is a discipline in which the knowledge of the mathematical, natural and humanistic sciences (which are acquired with the support of an institution of study, experience and practice) together they develop new approaches, where the engineer who develops in this area, can optimally use and manage the materials and human resources of a company or business for the benefit of the country and the being, in the context of ethical restrictions, physical, economic, environmental, human, political, legal and cultural.
