For several years now, there has been a growing communication and interdependence between the different countries of the world as well as a great advance in communications through technologies such as the internet, cell phones, multimedia, etc. All this encourages the exchange of information between distant places on the planet, allowing more to be known about different cultures and even trying to adopt customs that are not typical of civilization.

To this is added the migration that the countries present, which means that within each country there is a lot of cultural diversity which allows people from different countries to join in marriage generating cultural exchanges creating unusual mixtures both in traits and traditions and ideas.

However, this type of interrelation between people from different parts of the world is nothing new, examples can be found in the middle of the 15th century with the arrival of the Spanish in America or with the creation of empires such as China or the great Mesopotamia. which presented an invasion of foreign territories which led to a multi-religious, multi-ethnic… multicultural state.

This article will address the issue of Multiculturalism, the coexistence between people of different origins is increasingly frequent, which is why it is important to know reality in all its dimensions, find the advantage and take advantage of it.

Infomulticulturality

In order to define the concept of infomulticulturalism, it will first be necessary to decompose it into all the terms that encompass it, so let's start with the following words:

information

Knowledge base, information is the set of organized data, structured lexically, semantically and syntactically, that form messages which are transmitted from the sending party to a receiver.

Information is generally transmitted to generate communication, provide knowledge to others, to generate a change in attitude or simply to wait for a response.

Culture

Coming from the Latin root "cultus", culture is the set of beliefs, traditions, rules, laws, customs, habits, gastronomy, and codes that are part of a group of people and that define and differentiate them from other groups that may live in other countries, cities, or that are simply part of different territorial extensions.

Culture allows individuals to generate a sense of belonging to their locality, sometimes pride and love for their land.

Pluriculture

When groups of people belonging to different cultures inhabit the same geographical space, pluriculturality is being experienced.

A clear example can be found in the conflict in Palestine between Arabs and Jews. Professor Reginald Coupland noted around 1936 that two completely different cultures lived in Palestine as one had an Asian origin and the other of a European origin.

Since that time both cultural groups have lived in conflict partly because of their beliefs, partly because they feel invaded; this problem continues to this day and neither group has the slightest intention of emigrating.

When pluriculture is present in a territory, unfortunately there will always be a presence of conflicts because in multiculturalism the relationship between cultural groups is very scarce or null, there is no acceptance, there is a tendency to criticize or misunderstand the traditions or customs of the Furthermore, there is a feeling of superiority and generally seeks to exploit or take advantage of other groups, which ultimately ends up generating discontent, anger and fights.

Multiculturalism

Many tend to believe that multiculturalism and multiculturalism are the same; it's not like that.

Although multiculturalism also consists of a group of people from different cultures living in the same city or region, in this there is an interrelation between them, since they share the same jobs, teams in sports, schools, centers of worship, etc.

In multiculturalism there is a high degree of tolerance and it can even go as far as to adopt customs that are believed to be positive from other cultures.

So what is Infomulticulturalism?

Defined as: "exchange and influence of information between cultures that coexist and that have an acceptable margin of tolerance."

Infomulticulturalism is the information that is communicated to people of different cultures regardless of how they influence or affect each other.

Infomulticulturalism must analyze and study how this information changes the subject who receives it, the influence and importance of their decisions, and the way in which they behave in their environment as well as the formation of new paradigms, concepts and stereotypes.

Today the internet, advertising images, television, radio and other media are bombarding almost every corner of the planet with information, all this marketing is changing people's habits, their diet, the way they dress; the essence itself, what differentiates us from everyone else as a culture.

Infomulticulturalism in Organizations…

Through the management of infomulticulturalism, the people who are in charge of the administration of a company, entrepreneurs, leaders, communicators, etc. They can learn more about the groups they want to attack, understanding how the information sent to them will impact to promote the different products or services that are being offered.

As an entrepreneur, it is important not to forget that we live in a globalized world, where new competitors appear every time and it is necessary to be well prepared to beat them in business. It is very useful to make use of current information technologies because they can give us an advantage if they are used correctly to attack new markets and not neglect the use of different means of communication to send information to our clients reminding them who we are and what we offer you.

Infomulticulturalism refers to the exchange of information between individuals of different cultures. In the company there are two ways in which it can be used, one is within the organization (towards the collaborators) and the second in the external environment for customers - consumers.

If you pay attention to how the people around us understand, perceive or affect what we communicate to them, it will be easier to provide them with information in a way that they understand, avoiding making them feel attacked or confused.

Information is extremely necessary either to transfer knowledge, mandates, instructions or to persuade other people; However, if the sender does not know how to communicate or has no idea of the character, ideologies or mentality of his receiver, the information he communicates will have lost its objective.

How capable are the organizations to take advantage of the differences, to create products and services that are occupied by the widest range of consumers and at the same time the unification of the identity of the companies using those characteristics of their collaborators will be of great importance for their permanence in a globalized world.
