Who can propose projects?

Anonim

When we speak of "Projects" many think that they are raised only by public institutions, Universities or Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs).

If “Projects” are solutions to “Problems or needs” that arise, then we are all capable of proposing solutions based on “Projects”.

Faced with a Problem, a solution is always going to be sought, but the question is, when will we know if the solution we propose is a "Project" or is it a "Task" that is repeated?

If the solution we propose is an effort or challenge that has a beginning and an end and is carried out to create a unique product, service or result, this is a "Project".

But if the solution we propose is a task or activity that is repeated, it will not be a project. The solution based on "Tasks" is often confused with "Projects". The main difference is that the tasks are repetitive and are maintained over time, while the "Projects" are unique and have a beginning and end.

Many times we have heard companies say "the system fell" which means it does not work, it was damaged (Problem). The solution may be to fix or repair the system, this solution becomes a repetitive action (task) and we do not know until when it ends, this will not be a "Project". If another solution option is to create or acquire a new system that adapts to the needs of the company; This will be unique and will be designed and adapted in a period of time (beginning and end), in this case it will be a "Project".

We are all capable of proposing solutions based on projects and this will be based on our personal vision, convictions and motivations. Generally, "Projects" motivate us and help us to generate changes, but for this we need to investigate, analyze the root of the problem, have a proactive attitude.

Today companies are looking for people with initiative, who are innovative that their work is based on the approach of solutions taking into account mainly attitude, commitment and leadership and that these solutions follow a process of analysis of the problem, from achievements to short, medium and long term and approach to achievable solutions (steps to formulate projects).

“A man came to a construction that some workers were doing, and asked one of them, what are they doing? The first worker answered: here we are gluing bricks. The man, still restless, went to the second worker and asked the same question, and the worker looked at him with a smile and said: Lord, here we build the safest and most beautiful building in the city…
