Before answering, I invite you to answer the following questions:
1.- Do you live in one of the main cities of your country or in the capital of your region / state / department?
2.- Do you have a father or a mother?
3.- Does your Father or your Mother support you in your endeavors?
4.- Does your father or your mother support you financially in your endeavors?
5.- Do friends or family support you in your endeavors?
6.- Do friends or family support you financially in your endeavors?
7.- Did you go to the University?
8.- Did you go to a Private University?
9.- Did you go to one of the universities with the best reputation in your country?
10.- Did you study abroad?
11.- Have you traveled to more than 3 countries in your life?
12.- Do you have your own car or do you use one of the family as your own?
13.- Do you have a partner or partners?
14.- Does your partner or partners carry out essential activities in your Startup?
15.- Do you have friends or family who have helped you with their "contacts"?
16.- Do you have friends or family in decision-making positions in large companies and have they helped you?
17.- Do you have friends or family in managerial or elected positions in the government and have they helped you with their contacts?
18.- Have you received government support?
19.-Have you received acceleration, investment or mentoring in your Startup?
20.- Can you dedicate yourself to your Startup without worrying about the satisfaction of your basic food, room and clothing needs?
I can continue to add more questions, but since it is a «survey» that totally lacks methodology, it is superfluous. However, I consider this sample sufficient to explain my point.
For example, I have 11 "YES", so even if I say that I started from the bottom or that I am a risky entrepreneur, the reality is that it is not true, since I owe a lot to many independent of what I consider to be their own achievements.
