5 Tips to make your dreams come true this year

Anonim

If this 2012 you have proposed dreams and projects that you want to carry out, there are some key points that I suggest you take into account and take care of so that you can materialize more easily and with greater enjoyment that project, that dream that knocks at your door every day… I want share these tips with you today, to ease your way and above all so that you enjoy not only the satisfaction of achieving your dreams and goals but also the journey that this implies… So here you have them:

1. Open your mind you need to work to achieve a mentality that motivates, inspires and encourages you to advance and not to sabotage you and discourage you, since that will take away your desire to advance… Ask yourself what are the “obstacles” that appear in your mind and prevent you from materializing your dreams and "questions" those obstacles. You can use the 4 questions by Byron Katie that I share on my website www.liberatuestres.com For example, if you think that “working prevents you from realizing your dreams”, you can follow the following process to question it…

- Start by asking yourself the following 4 questions: "Is it true" that working prevents you from realizing your dream? Answer only yes or no.

- "Can you know that it is true with absolute certainty" that being working prevents you from materializing your dream? Again, answer only with a yes or no.

- "How do you feel, how do you react and how do you act" when you think that having a job does not allow you to materialize your dream? Perhaps it prevents you from taking action, it generates frustration, you resent your current job but you don't advance with your project either. You do not find out how to carry out your dream, you leave it there feeling bad for not realizing it, you feel confusion, discomfort.

- "How would you feel if you did not have the belief" that working prevents you from materializing your dreams? Perhaps you would be more open to see how you can do to make this project a reality, perhaps you would feel more motivated to find out, investigate, test. Perhaps you would be encouraged to see how both things can coexist or how you could make a transition, you would open yourself to see new opportunities most likely.

- Now after questioning your pessimistic belief with these 4 questions, the next step is to "invert" the thought and see if the opposite thought can be as true or perhaps truer than the initial thought. In this case, the most radical investment would be: "Being working helps me to materialize my dream…" (It helps me as opposed to prevents me). And now take the time it takes to write at least three examples of how it might be true that working helps you realize your dreams. Open yourself to seeing things with new eyes, and let the answers emerge. Here are some ideas… 1) It helps me because it gives me the economic stability I need until I see that my project is already established… 2) It helps me because it gives me the economic income to pay for the resources I need to implement my dream 3) Because I It allows me to work on my project without "pressing" it to give me results ahead of time…

"Can you see how what now seems like a problem or obstacle can actually be just the opposite? Rather a help, an opportunity?" I encourage you to question all those obstacles that your mind puts on you, so that you see how what seem like obstacles can actually be opportunities for you. This is key to being able to advance on this path. And best of all, your project and work will also become a path of self-discovery.

2. Create a clear vision of what you want to achieve. "Decide" what you want, not only "wait" for that to happen, decide it and then you will see that everything is easier once you make the decision to go in a specific direction. Your focus begins to redirect to discover and materialize that vision. Set yourself a goal for the next 3 and 12 months, write that goal down, and commit to working on it even if you don't know yet how you will do it. This is the first step.

3. Keep the focus on that vision: have your goal in a visible place, this goal should be as concrete as possible, in terms of what you want to achieve financially. Think about what achieving this will give you, the things you can do with this income, everyone you can help with your work, how you will feel when you achieve what you are planning. Visualize it, feel it, think about the satisfactions that will achieve these objectives and remember it every day to reconnect with your motivation.

4. Equip yourself with the tools, resources, and support you need to implement and carry out that vision. Sit down and think about what you will need to implement this dream, perhaps a new workspace, or to restructure your space, a few hours of daily dedication, a new routine, take a course, find a coach or group that can support you in this path? Think about what you need to materialize it and open yourself to leave the routines or things that no longer serve you, nor help you achieve this goal. I invite you to think, what do I have to do, how do I have to prepare myself, what do I need so that this dream, this life project, materializes through me? The answers I am convinced will come, pay attention and act.

5. Above all, TAKE ACTION. In order for your dream to materialize, you have to TAKE ACTION! This is a fact… Be open to taking action before the conditions to do so are “perfect”. Take action with a clear purpose, taking into account your ultimate goal. Ask yourself, what is my ultimate goal? Will these actions bring me closer to my goal or move me away from it? And act even if things do not turn out perfect, remember that the path is a process in which you will learn, refine and discover what works and what does not. And accept that things do not always go as you expect, learn from them, from what works and not and keep taking action…

I sincerely hope that you enjoy this trip and that 2012 is a year where you can connect more and more with yourself and with the projects that materialize through you…
