As you move toward the future you want, problems may arise that threaten to deviate from your goals. This will be so with any project you decide to undertake and it is expected, since nothing worth achieving for you can manifest itself in your reality without putting a little effort on your part.

Of the obstacles that may appear in your way, two of them are the ones that can put your self-esteem in check, making it increasingly difficult to achieve those goals that you have set for yourself. I am talking about anxiety and stress.

Having many goals in mind,

lack of time to achieve them,

feeling scattered among all the things you feel you must do to get ahead…

… are just some of the causes of these discomforts.

Sometimes, the desperation to reach your goals as soon as possible causes you to be loaded with anxiety and pressure. You accumulate tasks one after another without completing the ones you already had pending, which adds more and more pressure.

It is in those moments when the internal talk that you have inside your head every day begins to affect you negatively. You will begin to notice that your thoughts take the pattern of for example:

"I would like to, but I don't have the time."

"I am not able…".

"I should have already done it and now I don't…"

"At this age I can no longer…".

Etc…

By adding tasks and goals, what you are doing is dispersing your concentration and your energies, which, if you oriented them to a single “target” or objective, would make it easier to achieve it since all your resources would point there.

To avoid this dispersion of energies you must find what is really important to you right now, make a list of priorities in your life and assign them the amount of time and care they need according to their level of importance.

Today I want to leave you some advice born from my own experience so that you can decide what really matters and how to avoid the anxiety that comes from sharing your energy in an inefficient way…

Keep in mind that you can always retrace your steps. What you choose not to do today is not forever prohibited in your life, you can return to it when you decide.

Each experience or project in your life has a level of importance depending on the moment you choose it. Enjoy the path you have chosen and keep in mind that you must put all of yourself to reach an end that satisfies you.

All the goals you want to achieve, you will achieve when the time is right. It is likely that at this point in your life it is not the time to achieve them simply because you choose other objectives as priorities.

Keep in mind that all the goals you achieve and all the obstacles and failures you have on the way to achieving your goals, will leave you a teaching, which will make reaching other goals easier thanks to the wisdom you will have acquired.

Define what you want in all areas of your life and prioritize by importance and start with what you feel is most needed now. Many goals need other goals to be met before you can achieve them, don't forget.

You must give yourself this sense of importance, it does not depend on anyone else: neither on society, nor on your parents, nor on your friends; depends only on you. Do the same with small daily tasks. Differentiate the important from the urgent.

These are just some of the tips that I can give you for those moments when you feel that anxiety and stress are taking control of your life and getting you out of your way.

Always remember that the path to a better tomorrow can only be achieved when the goals you set for yourself are genuine (born from your heart) and that by giving your best to the world you will be able to create something greater for yourself and for the people you have around you.
