6 Tips to start your day with joy and enthusiasm

Most people when they start their day, the first thing they do, without even getting out of bed, is to complain and think about the many unpleasant things that await them: like work, problems to solve, difficult people to deal with, bills to pay and immediately they say: "A difficult day awaits me" and what do they get at the end of the day? a difficult day.

Why? because since they woke up they programmed themselves to end like this.

If that's you, do you think that with these kinds of thoughts you will want to get up with enthusiasm and joy? Of course not.

The only thing that will happen is that they will make you want to continue sleeping, but since you can't because you have "obligations to fulfill", then you wake up in a bad mood, lazily, tired, trying to live "another day", recreating in your mind everything negative that awaits you and you do everything automatically.

As of today I suggest that you do the following:

1.- Before going to sleep, when you stretch out in bed, think of at least 5 positive things that you experienced throughout this day, relive them and enjoy those moments. By doing this, first, you are focusing on the positive in your life, which will bring more positive things to you, and second, you are mentally preparing yourself to start your next day with more enthusiasm and joy.

2.- Tomorrow and every day, as soon as you wake up, mentally say: "Today is a great day, many positive and pleasant surprises await me. " Just as every morning before you filled your mind with negative thoughts, from now on, you are going to fill it, but with positive thoughts.

3.- Then get up, look for a window and with open arms, looking towards the sky, say the following: “Today I am open and receptive to all the good and wonderful things that this day has for me, thank you, thank you, thank you”. Put a lot of emotion when you say it, feeling every word you say.

4.- Sit down and be grateful for all the good things in your life: make a written list of 10 things for which you are deeply grateful, it can be, for the radiant sun with which you get up, the morning breeze, the bed where you slept, the clothes you wear, the money you have, the love of your partner, just waking up and being able to live this new day, in short, so many pleasant things that life gives us.

Louise Hay in her book " You can heal your life" tells that, as soon as she wakes up without even opening her eyes, she thanks the bed for the restful sleep that she has given her, and then with her eyes still closed she stays 10 minutes without doing Another thing to thank for all the good that is in your life.

I like to write, because this way I connect more with everything that is good in my life, in addition to the fact that my words are captured and then when I see them again, I am surprised at everything I have written. Here you have two options, you choose, the important thing is that you learn to be grateful for everything positive, pleasant and good that there is in your life.

I give you another tip, when you thank, also thank for what you still do not have and want to have, but do it as if that was already in your life.

Example:

Of course, put all the feeling in the world, believe that it is so and soon you will be surprised at how what you wrote is already happening in your life.

5.- Write positive affirmations. Once you make your "gratitude list" as I call it, pick up a notebook and repeat a positive statement at least 20 times, making it very emotional as you write it.

I give you some examples:

If you find it hard to believe any of these statements at first, start by writing: "I choose to believe that… (more statement)"

or "I choose to think that… (more statement)"

Doing this helps you feed your mind on positive things and obviously you are programming yourself to have a different day than the ones you have had until today.

6.- Write down your goals, what you want most in your life. Write it in the first person, present tense and in the affirmative, and the specific date on which you want to see your goal accomplished. Do this daily, so you stay focused on what you want and don't lose track of your goals.

Many people who get totally unmotivated are because they are not doing what they really want, they are only following what most people say they "should do", but not what their heart really wants. Don't be one of them and start fighting for your dreams, this is a good way to start.

Perhaps, at first, it will not be easy for you to do everything I propose now, because you are not used to doing it, but if you start with only one of the six, you will begin to notice the difference.

Set aside an hour a day to perform these exercises, it may take less, it all depends on the practice and consistency with which you do. And if necessary, get up an hour or half an hour early, so you have no excuses not to.

Later, if you are not already doing it, you can add to your time: do physical exercise, read a good book, listen to music that lifts your spirits, in fact the latter I recommend doing it now.

Remember that it is your life and your life is not at stake, nor is it for you to suffer, you have the right to be happy, and living a happy life depends only on you.

I hope you apply them and tell me how it went.
