Today the internet overwhelms us with so much information and we are so busy that taking the time to stop and read something with interest requires much more effort than in the past. It can be easy to write content for your blog - but.. content that will catch your readers? That's another thing.
Consider the following points the next time you're writing content for your blog:
1. Connect with the needs of your audience: Does your topic matter to them? He help them? Does it teach you something important and explain how to implement it? Put yourself in their shoes and imagine what topics they need to understand within your industry (so, read other relevant blogs for inspiration). Whenever you write, ask yourself, "Does it matter?" Make sure your post serves as a meaningful feature for your readers.
2. Surprise your readers: Create a controversial topic, if only to escape the routine. If you're always in favor of an X topic, take the opposite view (or write for and against it!). If you are usually serious, experiment using humor or satire.
If your rule is to communicate by text only, try a video, podcast, photos, or a combination.
3. Create expectations: Like when you watch a program on television, and at the end of the episode they announce that its continuation will take place next week. It is exciting - and creates mystery! Try writing a series of posts to post for a week or two. Another option is to conduct a survey and publish the results in the next post.
4. Connect with your readers: No one likes to read someone's words in a position of supremacy and / or misunderstood authority. Your readers are your equals, and they read to you because they seek to feel a connection to a person-with you. For this reason, your audience is interested in reading about your experiences, achievements, failures, and even jokes. Even if your blogger identity is anonymous, you can take this approach, since you can be sincere and personal without disclosing your name or details that make your identity evident in real life.
5. Do you usually read other blogs? Surely. Have you recently come across a highly commented post? So chances are you've found HOT stuff to develop in your next article. Take the main idea of that post and spread it, write from your own point of view, ask your readers a question and ask for their opinion.
Consider looking for quotes and examples to add depth and consistency to your post.
6. Recommend articles published by other bloggers in your niche:
- You will provide something of value to your readers. You will build greater credibility by showing that you are aware of what is happening in your niche and up to date with the latest news. You will build relationships with other bloggers by sending traffic to their blog, who in turn will add value to their posts. through comments you will be able to contribute a new perspective to the original post and thus enrich the discussion
