How to develop the power of faith

Anonim

For centuries we have been taught that achieving the goals we want is a consequence of hard and prolonged work. However, in the new times, it has begun to speak of faith, as a variable that can influence aspects such as healing and personal success. What is faith and how to develop it? Keep reading.

For decades, psychology has been studying the spiritual component and its effects on human life. Neuroscientists claim that believing in the existence of a higher power or functioning with a high degree of hope or self-confidence reduces stress and improves the quality of life.

Researchers who study spiritual phenomena, affirm that the absence of doubts about a desired result, can activate within the person and also outside, in the environment, forces and circumstances that go beyond traditional logic and that contribute to living in a way more positive and generate greater achievements, on average, than traditional ones.

Quite well known is the biblical expression: " Faith moves mountains ", although it is now when this idea has been scientifically based. "Not everything is logical," repeated my mother, who was fully convinced of the existence of certain spiritual capacities such as intuition and faith, which she considered much more effective than human rationality.

We tend to think that if our logic does not clearly see how to generate certain results, it is because it is not possible to generate it. We deny or ignore outright, other less "logical" possibilities such as the power of faith. I define faith as "an emotional force that dispels doubts, a form of absolute trust, in which what is desired tends to materialize in due course, in various ways."

For Greg Bradden, a consciousness researcher, the ancients taught that to activate the power of faith, there are two essential rules: Imagine what is desired, as if it had already been done, and experience a deep emotion of happiness and gratitude. These two aspects combined, have a powerful influence on events. On the contrary, when we say that we want something, but at the same time we act as if we do not want it, this contradiction blocks, closes the door to the energy that materializes dreams.

Even quantum mechanics, a branch of physics, has pointed out that everything is potentially achievable, that there is no immutable reality, and that, as the famous Brazilian educator Paulo Freire has said, "life is not, it is being." Deepak Chopra, an American Indian physician, has pointed out that there is a quantum field, a unified network to which we are all connected, that is capable of listening to our thoughts and emotions. Bradden calls this interconnected energy network the "Divine Matrix."

According to Antonio Blay, author of the book: "Consciousness, Existence and Realization", faith works when all our energy and consciousness are committed to what we want; When the strength that we put into what is desired is so great that there is no room for doubt. This is the so-called "miracle formula". The author affirms that faith does not admit a little desire, but a total desire. And it offers an example where if a person uses a 25 watt bulb, they will have 25 watt lighting, while if they use a 100 watt bulb, they will have 100 watt lighting. With few watts there will be little light, with little faith, the results will be poor and limited.

However, not everything is so simple. A frequent mistake some people make is in having "inactive faith." This means that they desire but do not act, do not support the intention of achievement with coherent and sustained actions to create the supposedly desired reality. Action is the complementary component of faith, because what we desire will only crystallize through the paths of action, even if unforeseen or unusual fortuitous events occur. It is, therefore, about wanting, visualizing, feeling and acting.

There are two additional aspects that should be incorporated in this package of suggestions: That the desire is really intense and that the desired goal helps us in our inner growth, and that it is beneficial for other people. This pair of elements increases the levels of effectiveness supported by faith.

Blay also suggests creating a proper mental climate that increases the chances of success. In his opinion, we must achieve internal silence and external openness. Inner silence is achieved with meditation, which produces a state of mental clarity and great serenity. In this state of cry, a very special type of energy is transmitted that Richard Gerber has called “magnetoelectric energy”, which attracts what we want to achieve. Openness, on the other hand, implies being willing to accept the new, the different, even if that takes us out of everyday comfort. Many people say they want money, but are unwilling to adapt to new habits, relationships, and environments. The habitual mind tends to avoid internal contradiction, and it achieves this by avoiding the changes that would produce it.

Summarizing, we will say that there are powers different from those of logic and reason, as is the case with the power of faith; that to activate that power it is necessary to know clearly what you want, taking care that it is an ecological goal, with benefits that transcend the selfish mentality; that you have to imagine how you have already achieved what you want, experience an intense emotion of gratitude and create mental conditions of silence and openness to the new, and also work to facilitate achievement.

Let us recall, finally, the words that the Master Jesus said to his disciples about faith: "If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to that mountain, move! And the mountain would move." Thanks for reading me. Twitter: @doctorrenny
