How wonderful it would be if you could make anyone read your content, and even better just by reading the title. Doesn't this sound great to you?

Most people think that the most powerful reason to convince readers to read your content is the topic you are talking about and the truth is not. Experienced bloggers know that the most effective way to do this is to awaken emotions by touching the right emotional factors.

Now, let us know what are the emotional factors of your readers, those that arouse their curiosity and interest in reading your publications and trigger an action on their part and how you can use the appropriate words in your titles and content.

Before continuing I want to tell you to be very careful not to abuse the titles that evoke the emotions of the readers.

Emotional factors are a great way to get attention and trigger feelings, but they're also a good way to screw up. Abusing these titles can backfire on your reputation, and what's more important is that you can hurt people's feelings.

For example, you can damage the sensitivity of people as in aspects of sexual life, obesity, physical appearance, etc. Just remember the TV commercials or slogans that use strong emotions like "Go back to being a man" to promote a drug that solves erection problems.

Wouldn't this hurt your feelings? Same for the people you are targeting. Instead of using those hurtful phrases, you could use other words that arouse positive emotions, for example, something like: "Get your happiness back", much better, don't you think?

So a lot of eye with this aspect…

Well, do you want to know those emotional factors that capture the eyes of your readers? Ok, keep reading.

I will present you with a short list of three different categories from which I based myself on the Berto López ebook for Ciudadano 2.0. The examples shown are intended to teach how to use one or more emotional factors to use in business phrases in the titles of an article, the sale of a product, a tweet, etc.

(The following data are not true, they are only examples)

Let us begin:

Negative emotions

  1. Suffering: "Know the best websites to raise your self-esteem in a couple of days" Guilt: "Our country has the highest rate of environmental pollution. Do you want to continue to be part of the problem or solution? Ira:" We know that justice it is not the same for you as for the rich. Sign here for XXX ”Fear:“ 5 things you must do to avoid a heart attack ”Uncertainty:“ Don't you know what to give away on Mother's Day? Visit our website to give you some ideas "Greed:" How to get my first million dollars working half the time "Disappointment:" You also lost all your savings in a bad investment? Call this phone for XXX ”

Positive emotions

  1. Self-improvement: “Disappointed to live in fear of public speaking? In the XXX program you will learn to end your fears by being in front of an audience. Trust: "With our online marketing system, 75% of people have managed to significantly increase the sales of their products" Wish: "Would you like to drive a new car? Practical tips to get that car you want. Competing: "With XXX you will show that age does not matter" Prestige: "12 tips to turn your ebook into a best seller" Passion: "You will live an unforgettable experience in XXX" Leadership: "Take advantage your competition and become one of the best in online marketing ”

Neutral emotions

  1. Pride: “How to express to your boss that you are more competent than him” Curiosity: “Discover the 10 strategies to make money online” Surprise: “Did you know that the XXX study revealed that having your own blog can be more profitable than having a Local? Urgency: "Know the methods to increase your clients before the competition discovers them" Anticipation: "How to avoid that your competition takes the lead"

Well, now that you know how to evoke emotions in your readers, you should not forget not to abuse these techniques. It is not good that you plague your content with this type of phrases, since if you repeat them in excess it can be counterproductive, (as I said previously) and the readers will realize your intentions.

So, use them in a balanced way. What is the point of striving for a great title if later you are going to scare the reader with your content?
