A study of 57 district entities in Bogotá found that management problems are related to communication problems in more than 80%.

This investigation carried out by the Image People firm to directors of communication and human management of different institutions of the public sector in Bogotá during the last quarter of 2008, revealed the state in which they are in terms of management, being the leadership and the horizontal communication the topics rated with the greatest shortcomings in these entities and leaving on the table the possibility of making their management more dynamic and effective through communication.

When asked the percentage of internal communication problems that affect organizational climate problems, more than 50% agreed that it occurs between 70% and 100%.

Finally, to the questioning, in what percentage do internal communication problems affect citizen satisfaction problems? More than 50% of the representatives of the communication and human management departments of the district entities answered that it influences more than one 60%.

These results indicate that these entities should focus more attention on the communication processes that they carry out daily, since the problems they present today affect their productivity, waste resources, slow down management and therefore deteriorate their image in the face of the users.

This is how a strong and efficient entity generates trust and a favorable image before the public, which is always alert to every detail from the service it receives to the work of the officials.
