Have the Administration studies in Mexico really evolved? In particular, I think that the attitude and disposition must also evolve when deciding to study a career or a postgraduate degree, and even better in life decisions. It is important that the studies evolve but the way of administering and especially the attitude of each person must also evolve.
The main objective of this essay is to interpret and relate pessimistic theory or pessimism in everyday life and in administrative studies in Mexico. What pessimism provokes in personal, economic, and labor development and what prevents academic, professional and personal evolution.
1.1. Pessimistic Theory
The word pessimism is defined as exaggerated hopelessness, or a propensity to see and judge things in a more unfavorable aspect. A pessimistic person can be classified as one who despair and NO is part of their vocabulary and decisions. How a person thinks and acts from their educational development to their way of life, that is, the pessimist is one who, without knowing what something is about, has already said no, and if they ask him for an opinion on some subject, he will always respond negatively.
A pessimist refuses the process, the evolution of humanity, of studies, of science and technology, and other issues. It can be related as something completely contrary to optimism (created by Leibniz), it is very interesting and even curious to observe an optimist and a pessimist locked in a room, the result is very evident because the optimist will always maintain a positive attitude, he will know how to take advantage of it or usefulness to the things that are nearby and affirm that they will soon go for it. On the other hand, the pessimist potentiates his negative attitude, he will reproach himself for why he has to be there, he may even enter an attack of hysteria or finally in a state in which psychology relates to pessimism: Depression.
1.2. How is a pessimist related to evolution?
A pessimistic person naturally refuses to evolve, his thinking is that nothing makes sense and nothing will ever go right or benefit. This type of thinking is related to mediocrity, conformity, guilt and stagnation, which obstructs civilization. Obviously a pessimist is not related in any way to any developmental or evolutionary process. The pessimist says: "Why evolve in the curriculum, why remove or add subjects, if I am well" when actually modifying the processes or curriculum contributes to better development and improves learning.
However, what if you are closely related to planning and executing some evolutionary plan or process is a positive person. Someone positive always sees the favorable side of everything, seeks solutions and above all wants to advance, excel, evolve in every way and referring to studies or knowledge even more.
2.1. Administrative Studies
Studying from my point of view is the acquisition of knowledge generally through reading to develop skills and aptitudes. The administration for its part is the ability to achieve objectives through collective work, having a specific order for each item. According to Lourdes Galindo and José García Martínez, Administration is the process whose objective is the effective and efficient coordination of the resources of a social group to achieve its objectives with maximum productivity.
2.2. Administration Studies in Mexico
Making reference only to the higher level education system (University) and specifically to the Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the study plan for the Bachelor of Administration is very broad, covering compulsory subjects (from; the environment of organizations to strategic administration) but also a very wide range of professionalizing electives such as: Marketing, Human Resources, Operations, Finance, Mathematics, Costs, Economics, among others). In other words, the optional subjects will contribute and will undoubtedly provide much more tools and skills to develop favorably in the professional field and its success leads to personal satisfaction.
conclusion
In order to interpret what I have studied, I express my particular judgment on the evolution of studies and administration. Continuously studies (subjects, processes) will change according to the demands of life, science, technology, human development, that is something that nothing can stop. However, in relation to pessimism, evolution is something that does not happen, that has no reason to exist, that does not satisfy anything.
Mexico is a country with ethnic and social diversities and, of course, requires different needs, but there are general qualities that together will foster an evolution such as; Optimism, positive and purposeful attitude, Citizen Participation, creating public policies in favor of society alone, etc. But that without a doubt the first step for everything is a defined thought and focused on civility, to spread and permeate this way of life so that we collectively evolve.
