The Internet changes the way we exercise

Anonim

Now we can exercise online at home (or office) without having a private teacher.

If we were surprised that with the wii (video game console) we can do an aerobics class (for example) at home, without a monitor, it should no longer surprise us that with a computer and a connection we can receive a dance class.

Today, in free hours on the Internet, young people (and not so young), in addition to chatting with their friends on messenger, are also interested in learning, so they take the chair away from the computer, stand up, and they receive an online class as if they had the teacher in front of them (with the advantage of pressing Pause and Rewind if it doesn't work out).

This option comes as a solution to the problems that many people have in not finding an academy or school near their home to learn their hobby.

We have collected the advantages and disadvantages of receiving an online class.

Advantage:

  • You don't have to move from home.

The class is inside your room, your office, your cybercafé,… where you have internet!

  • You can repeat the class, as many times as you want.

After class, it is recorded on video, digitally, with which, you can always have access to rewatch those steps that did not go well.

  • You can talk to the teacher, as if he were at home. (if it's live)

The fact that the teacher is thousands of kilometers away does not mean, for you to tell him, to repeat a step. This can be done with the hotmail messenger, or with any other type of instant messaging.

  • You save time on the move.

You don't have to take the bus, or the train, or go down to the street! (this was unthinkable years ago)

  • Your cyber-companions do not bother you with their movements.

Sometimes, in classes, especially if you are new, you place yourself behind and they do not leave you much space, here, the owner of the space, you are!

  • If you are from another country, you could NEVER receive a class that was not online, it is NOT a Video.

You might think that it is the same as buying a DVD at the kiosk to learn to dance, but it is not. This is a real, custom class. That is, you can ask (as we have already said) the teacher directly live. In addition, there is a forum and chat for communication between students, multimedia material, such as written steps, music, etc,…

Disadvantages:

  • You have to make a little space to move in front of the computer, although you can always turn the screen to the side that suits you. You do not know your cyber-classmates physically, nor can you speak during class (you can always do it in a forum, or chat, after each class).
