Introduction

Production control systems in the Industrial sector present deficiencies at present and do not constitute an effective tool that managers can count on in the decision-making process, as required by the current times.

The research carried out was specifically oriented to the INPUD Primero de Mayo Company in Villa Clara, an Industry that is linked to several productive processes for the Production of household items and consumer goods, it must be the carrier of an Information Management System that is recognized as a necessary tool in the decision-making process.

Perfecting the Productive Process Control System requires a procedure that allows transforming the existing reality and the involvement of all the human resources involved in its management.

Achieving the awareness and participation of senior management in the Implementation of the procedure is a challenge and a necessity, as this would guarantee its application and success within the organization.

It is necessary to implement the procedure to improve the Production Control System that currently exists in the INPUD Company. This proposal consists of four stages: recognition and diagnosis, planning, execution and evaluation. It would make it possible to carry out an integrated, participatory, systemic work with a methodological approach that generates a high commitment and sense of belonging to the organization, from those involved.

Development

Objective and scope

Establish general actions for planning and control of the production process; as well as the information provided by the UEB and the controls exercised by the Production Department on these activities; in the process of making the product in the INPUD Company «1ero de Mayo».

Responsibilities

The Production Director is responsible for the development, approval, control and distribution of this procedure.

The implementation of this procedure is the responsibility of the Directorates of Regulation and Control, of the Directors of UEB.

The planners and heads of production areas are responsible for executing the work in compliance with the provisions of this procedure.

Production process planning

The UEB Sales Directorate delivers to the Production Directorate the "Annual Sales Plan" DT (P04-1) -1 per UEB, with the deadline for delivery in December of the year ending, which contains the following data:

- Year planned

- Products for each UEB

- Physical Units

- Values

Taking as reference the “Annual Sales Plan, the“ Technical Economic Plan of the company in the Year “M (P06-1) -1 is prepared. This Plan is delivered to all the addresses of the company.

Based on the "Technical Economic Plan of the company in the Year" the " Sliding Monthly Operating Plan " DT (P06-1) -1 of each one of the UEBs is prepared by products, physical units and values.

The “sliding monthly Operational Plan will be debated in meetings with the Production Directorate, planners of the UEB in the last ten of the previous month together with the specialists and Purchasing and Sales Directors, analyzing:

- Raw Material

- Inventories

- Sales Orders to third parties

With these aspects, the “sliding monthly Operational Plan” of each of the UEB is finally approved, registering in the DT (P06-1) -1, which will contain at least:

- Name of the UEB

- Month to be planned

- Products

- Physical units

- Prices in MN and CUC

- Total value in MN and CUC

The Production Directorate together with each of the UEB and the UEB Maintenance Directorate will agree according to DT (P06-1) -2 the “Contracting of the availability of technological equipment by UEB” to be used according to the “sliding monthly Operating Plan” in each productive UEB taking into account:

- Name of UEB

- Month

- Machinery or equipment to be used

The Production Directorate guides and controls the work of the UEB in relation to Production and its planning through weekly operational meetings with each of the UEB planners and Directors and UEB Directors of services.

Any modification to which the “Sliding Monthly Operating Plan” was submitted will only be approved by the Production Director.

The Directorate of the Commercial UEB (Purchases) must deliver to the Production Directorate monthly the "Balance of Materials" DT (P03-3) -2 according to procedure P03-3 "Purchases" with the raw material and guaranteed materials to face the "sliding monthly Operating Plan".

Process Control for the realization of the product

Each UEB must elaborate its productions with the Technical documentation (Technological processes or technologies sheets) that will be elaborated and delivered by the Technical Directorate, in which the activities, methods, established requirements and resources for the realization of each of its products according to procedure P06-2 " Preparation and Control of Technical Documentation ".

Based on the Technical Documentation, the planners will carry out a technological diagnosis of the products that will be produced at that time according to the "sliding monthly Operational Plan" which consists of:

- Status and completion of the Technological Documentation and Work Instructions.

- State of the tooling and the necessary machines.

- Status of the necessary measuring instruments (if they are verified and / or calibrated).

- Availability, quality and specified requirements of the raw material and materials used.

- Adequate work environment.

- Means of Protection of workers.

Each UEB will deliver the following information or work documents to the Production Department in written or digital form: Objectively when the finished production is delivered.

"Daily Part of the Production of the UEB" which will be prepared by each of the planners of the UEB, this part will be delivered according to the DT (P06-1) -3, it will contain:

- Date

- UEB

- Products

- Physical units

- Real of the day

- Real Accumulated of the month

- Real Accumulated of the Year

- Prices in MN and CUC

- Total Value in MN and CUC of the month

- Total value in MN and CUC of the Year.

The previous record is prepared taking into account the document used in the UEB for the delivery of the finished product DT (P06-1) -12 "Finished production delivery to the Warehouse" which will contain as fundamental data:

- Date

- UEB

- Delivery workshop

- Destination warehouse

- Product or parts name

- Physical units

- Values ​​in MN and CUC

- Warehouseman's signature.

- Name and signature of the Quality Control that carried out the measurement or final test as proof that the product fulfilled the inspection stages and was accepted as compliant (that is, the product was released).

"Need for Raw Material for the elaboration of the Production Plan" DT (P06-1) -4 that is elaborated based on the "Sliding Monthly Operational Plan" DT (P06-1) -1 per product of each of the UEB, will deliver at the end or beginning of the next month. It must contain at least the following aspects:

- Date

- Name of the UEB

- Product

- Physical Units

- Consumption Norm

- Necessity according to N / C

- Inventory of Raw Materials.

- Inventory of production in process.

"Production Closing of the Month of each UEB" DT (P06-1) -5 is prepared by the Planner of each UEB based on the "Daily Part of UEB production" DT (P06-1) -3, it will be carried out and It will be delivered at the end or beginning of the next month and must contain the following aspects:

- Date

- UEB

- Products

- Physical units

- Real of the day

- Real Accumulated of the month

- Real Accumulated of the year

- Prices in MN and CUC

- Total value in MN and CUC of the month

- Total value in MN and CUC of the year

"Inventory of the Production in Process of each UEB" DT (P06-1) -6 this will be delivered at the beginning of next month. It must contain the following aspects:

- Name of the UEB

- Month

- Products

- Physical units

- Prices in MN and CUC

- Total Value in MN and CUC

"Balance of Load and Capacity of each UEB" DT (P06-1) -7 is prepared based on the "Sliding Monthly Operating Plan" DT (P06-1) -1 for each UEB, it will be delivered at the beginning of next month. It must contain the following aspects:

- Date

- UEB

- Plan in Physical Units

- Amount of equipment needed

- Total workers to face the Plan.

“Production raw material balance” DT (P06-1) -8, will be delivered in the first five days of the expired month with the following aspects:

- Date

- UEB

- Products

- Consumption standard

- Quantity Produced

- Warehouse dispatches

- Actual consumed

- Returns

- Rejection

The Production Department issues the "Daily Production Report to the Company" DT (P06-1) -9 based on the daily information issued by the planners through the "UEB Daily Production Report" DT (P06-1) -3 where the products of the Plan and Real of each UEB and the values ​​in MN of the Plan and Real of each UEB with the percentages of compliance of each UEB and the Company Plan appear. This is circulated to the interested parties via email. It must contain.

- Date

- Name of UEB

- Products

- Physical Units

- Actual of the day

- Actual Accumulated of the month

- Actual Cumulative of the Year

- Prices in MN and CUC

- Total Value in MN and CUC of the month

This is circulated to the interested parties via email. It must contain the following aspects:

- Date

- Name of the UEB

- Products

- Physical Units

- Actual Accumulated of the month

- Actual Accumulated of the Year

- Prices in MN and CUC

- Total Value in MN and CUC of the month

- Plans in Physical Units of each UEB

- Actual in Physical Units of each UEB

-% Compliance

- Plans in Securities of each UEB

- Actual in Securities of each UEB

-% Compliance

- Plans in Company

Securities - Real in Company Securities

-% Compliance of the Company

The Production Directorate issues compliance with the economic Technical Plan of each UEB through the “Certification of Compliance with the UEB Production Plan“ DT (P06-1) -11 this will be carried out in the first 15 days of the month. It must contain the following aspects:

- Date

- Name of UEB

- Total Economic Technical Plan of the Month in (MP)

- Real Total of the Month in (MP)

-% Compliance

- Total Cumulative Economic Technical Plan of the Year in (MP)

- Real Total Accumulated of the Year in (MP)

-% compliance

Conclusions

1. The proposed procedure is a methodological instrument, which can be applied in other organizations of the Mechanical Steel Industry system in the country.

2. The procedure allows better control of the production process as well as taking preventive measures that allow compliance with commitments.
